With a new album in the works and set to release in the fall, Fat Joe dropped this star-studded video for the LP's first single entitled, "Pride N Joy." The track features damn near everybody on the planet including folks like Kanye West, DJ Khaled, and Busta Rhymes. Yasiin Bey also makes a vocal appearance on the record, but not in the video. Conversely the lovely Ashanti swings through for a visual cameo, but doesn't join on the mic. Check out this Hype Williams-directed feature below and pick the single up on [...]
As you might already know, Fat Joe's pretty great new single, " Pride N Joy ", features damn near everyone in the world. Although you mostly only hear the voices of Miguel and Kanye West , the track also boasts choir-esque vocals from Jadakiss , DJ Khaled , Roscoe Dash, Busta Rhymes , and Yasiin Bey . For whatever reason, the artist formerly known as Mos Def couldn't make it to the shoot for the Hype Williams-directed visuals, but everyone else did. Including Ashanti. Why? Why not, I guess? Anyway, you can peep [...]

The English trifecta of rapper Devlin, and singers Ed Sheeran and Labrinth, recently joined forces in the Radio 1 Live Lounge at the BBC Maida Vale studios to perform their rendition of Jay-Z and Kanye West 's massive Watch The Throne hit, "No Church In The Wild." With Sheeran and Labrinth jointly replacing Frank Ocean's vocals on the hook, Devlin also provides a twist by delivering original lyrical content and trading out phrases like, "Tears on the mausoleum floor / Blood stains the Colosseum doors" for "Blood stains the north London [...]
The Dancer's who performed "Runaway" for Ye's Australian Tour Hijack and flash mob a commercial airliner. They Gotcha.

It's been awhile since we've seen Kanye West 's backup ballet dancers from his 40-minute Runaway film (who also appeared with him on Saturday Night Live and at Coachella ), probably because the budget for the Watch The Throne tour couldn't include room and board for a large group of women rocking tutus. The ladies have reemerged today, in a video filmed while they were on a flight during their Australian tour. Apparently, they decided that thousands of feet [...]
On most flights, you can expect stale peanuts, bitter coffee, and, if you're lucky, a mediocre rom com. At best. Sometimes magic can happen at thirty thousand feet. Such was the case as a group of Kanye West 's dancers put the flash mob moves on a recent Virgin Airlines flight during Kanye's 2012 Australian Tour. Check out the video below and enjoy a little in-flight entertainment.

Wassup Friday? Here's Kanye's troupe of dancers doing their " Runaway " routine as part of an in-flight flash mob. I love the part when they do that one move where all the dancers splay out in different directions. Watch it below. Read More...

Ice-T 's documentary The Art Of Rap: From Nothing To Something includes some of the greatest emcees of our time speaking on their crazy journey in the music world. One of the biggest artists of our generation, Kanye West , gave fans insight to the creation process for all of his albums to date. West discusses writing his lyrics down for the first time in M.B.D.T.F , the power behind his lyrics, and wanting to inspire society through song.

If you read NJawn you know we hate that Khaled gets any credit for this track but it's a must post with these 2 rappers. Verses are semi-hard and Khaled screaming dumb shit.
First the BET Awards and now his music videos. It seems the transformation of Kim into Kanye's new muse is finally complete. In a bit of a surprising (re: not so surprising) move, the socialite makes a brief appearance in Ye's new video for "Cold." The Hype Williams-directed visual also features Rick Ross who spits his verse from "I Wish You Would" and DJ Khaled doing whatever it is he does. Hit the jump for video, but be warned. It may cause seizures. "I Wish You Would" is [...]
Hold on to your chairs folks, this is a shaky ass video! Directed by Hype Williams, the lastest visual offering from Mr. West, Rozay and Khaled take on the track "I Wish You Would" and mix in Kanye's "Way Too Cold." I was a little skeptical at first with the whole idea of combining 2 videos into one, but this works. Hey, its a tough economy folks. 2 for the price of 1 is always a good deal.

Hold onto something stable before pressing "play" on DJ Khaled , Kanye West and Rick Ross ' "I Wish You Would" video — you might feel a little dizzy. If you'd rather not risk it, we'll sum up the Hype Williams -directed clip for you: Khaled, Yeezy and Ross rap in a brick alleyway, often cloaked in darkness, as the camera mercilessly shakes back and forth. The vid for West's Kim Kardashian -referencing "Cold" [...]

If you're prone to motion sickness, this Hype Williams-directed video that combines Kanye West and DJ Khaled 's "I Wish You Would" and "Cold" (formerly known as "Theraflu," then "Way Too Cold") probably isn't for you. 'Ye, Khaled, and Rick Ross trade verses in a tunnel of some sort during a pseudo-earthquake, an effect created by a very shaky camera. And yes, Kim Kardashian makes a brief cameo during her shout out in "Cold." Check out the visuals below. HOW TO LOVE: KANYE & KIM

Just going by the credits, this song should be awesome. Rick Ross and Kanye West are arguably the two most checked for rappers right now, and Hit-Boy is at the top of the producer's versions. The video is directed by Hype Williams, so I'm thinking grand slam right now. Am I the only one a little underwhelmed by this? With everything Kanye has been spitting lately (even "Way Too Cold", which plays right after "I Wish You Would"), his verse on this seems a little mailed in or like he's saving the best for his own material. It's not a [...]
Hype Williams has combined the DJ Khaled and Kanye West collaborations of late "I Wish You Would" and "Cold" into one easily digestible visual which features Ye's new obsession, Kim Kardashian and a guest spot from one of the three kings, Rick Ross. It's a shakey ride of a video but a nice surprise on a Tuesday morning via CoS .
Hear's the visually impressive combo clip for "I Wish You Would" & " Cold ," a six-minute long Hype Williams construction featuring West, Khaled and Rozay holding down an underground tunnel. Real talk, though - is it better than the fan video with the kid rapping , a la Danny Brown's " Grown Up "/Biggie's " Sky Is The Limit ?" Watch it below and decide. Read More...
Hype Williams does his best to piss off the Epilepsy Foundation of America with his latest dual clip for Kanye West and DJ Khaled's "I Wish You Would" / "Cold." The clip features vibrating, Frank Miller-esque versions of West , Khaled , Rick Ross and (briefly) Kim Kardashian . Check it out below: Read more articles like " Video: Kanye West & DJ Khaled - "I Wish You Would" / "Cold" " [...]
As excitement for G.O.O.D. Music's album Cruel Summer continues to build, we begin to see the individual collaborators reveal more and more about the project. Or maybe not. Common sat down with Sway to talk about the project to the best of his knowledge, but the extent of that seems to be that 'it's gonna dope'. 'Ye 's hands-on leadership has apparently left many of his signees in the dark as far as what verses will make the final cut and what won't. Most people can agree, though, that we can trust the G.O.O.D. general's [...]
