One of 2012's most unsuspectingly stellar mixtapes comes from producer DJ Dahi , who's fame has nabbed him some time with Freddie Gibbs and Kendrick Lamar on good kid, m.A.A.d city 's "Money Trees." Jumpy, disconnected, and large in scope, Toys 2.0 is welcoming in its all-over appeal. The instrumental album doesn't dwell solely in the realm of hip-hop production, taking surprising leaps to clever chip tune pop on tracks like "Simon," and jazz soul revisions on "Binyah Binyah" (the name-sake from notorious 1990s kids show Gulla Gulla [...]

For the past couple days Million $ Mano has been teasing the most recent remix he's worked on for Kendrick Lamar's "Swimming Pools." After stating he isn't a fan of remixing these days, because it's a majority of what he did while coming up 4+ years ago, it's not a surprise Kendrick is the one to get Mano inspired again. Timbuck2 premiered the track on GCI last night, but look for the track soon online. I'm still hoping on Downtown Wednesday Night ...

While over the pond, Kendrick stopped by BBC on Gilles Peterson Worldwide how to discuss a range of things, most notably #GKMC. In this clip Giles asks K Dot about any UK influence, then plays him "Higher Ground" by TNGHT and Kendrick wraps it up. You'll hear more of this...
Loaded up the iPhone5 with the following.. charging the shit out of it. My first iPhone. I'll never go back to any other phone - it's simply incredible. I downloaded a grip of shit for my flights / travel.. TheWeeknd - Trilogy LP. - Good for the red eye zone outs. Kendrick Lamar LP - incredible west coast rap. New Wes Anderson movie I haven't seen.. K dot stops by Rhapsody for a quick "On The Record" feature clip, in which he breaks down the importance of 2Pac's "Dear Mama". It's evident the impact Pac had on Kendrick and his career, but it's always more powerful to hear it straight from the artist. Hit the jump for the clip.
Plenty of news to report in the past two weeks, but none bigger or more impacting than the passing of Berlin-based house talent-now-deceased, Martin Dawson. 10 tracks in total to get your weekend started but first, take a moment to remember we are all only human - make the most of your youth and opportunities. [...]
Star Slinger helps us out on this slow day for music, dropping a dancey rendition of Kendrick Lamar 's "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe". This refix dives deep into the world of trance and house, cranking up the BPM and letting the bass run deep. I never thought I'd hear this particular good kid, m.A.A.d. city cut played in the club, but now it has quite the shot. Oh, and this will most likely make you look totally cool if you spin it at this weekend's house party. Stream the Star Slinger refix below.
Would've posted this yesterday but I'm no Andrew Martin. And the sooner we can all accept that, the better. "Cross Trainers" is easily the most compelling piece of music on the tracklist of Pac Div's upcoming sophomore albu GMB . It features LA representers Kendrick Lamar & Blu, which is surprising considering the totally random Blu & ScHoolboy Q twitter beef . Probably was recorded before those shenanigans. Check out "Cross Trainers" below and stay tuned for GMB. MP3: Pac Div [...]

Kendrick Lamar shows his appreciation to his fans by giving us a glimpse into what him and J. Cole will be cooking up for the future. The Jig Is Up definitely sounds like a winner and we hope to get more from the two soon. The week is up... Yall did it... AppreciatIon day is TODAY. With that being said. Me and COLE was in the stu lastnight........... — Kendrick Lamar (@kendricklamar) October 30, 2012
Capitalizing on the recent success of Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d. city , Scoop Deville decides to remix the bonus cut " The Recipe ". Scoop Deville actually produced the Dr. Dre featured original, so this little side step makes perfect sense. And to be honest, I wouldn't exactly call this a remix, as Scoop is really just messing around with the original beat and adding some more chops and vocal samples. Like that sweet little Biggie loop. Listen to the remix below.

"Without a doubt one of the most influential hip hop records of the year..." Kendrick Lamar | Good Kid, M.A.A.D City Being flaunted by the media as the new face of West Coast Hip Hop is a lot of pressure for an underground artist, and Kendrick Lamar could of easily crumbled like the overhyped rappers that have come before him. As the buzz around the Compton native skyrocketed with every EP release, and news of collaborations hit the web (big names like Drake, Jay Rock and Dr. Dre) there was a lot riding on [...]
We are officially at the end of what we can pretty much call the Week of Kendrick Lamar . Dude pretty much owned every music website this week with his onslaught of late night and live performances, interview after interview, and, oh right, the release of his proper debut album . But hey, he's not the only artist to have a strong week, as we heard good-to-great projects from numerous artists. We've rounded up some of our favorites here for y'all to enjoy. And the best part? They're all free. Click page 2 to [...]

Kendrick Lamar 's major label debut good kid, m.A.A.d. city has been sifting through our eardrums for a few days now, and it becomes apparent that the Compton rapper uses a diverse array of samples going into each of his songs. Gianna Lee and Mike Blud of Babylon Cartel are making things easy for you, though, as they have put together a mixtape of the songs that Lamar sampled. Whether it's Beach House or Kanye West, Ohio Players or Janet Jackson, it's pretty clear how vast Lamar's spectrum of influence really is. Download the compilation for [...]
Say what you want about Kendrick Lamar 's collaboration with Drake on good kid, m.A.A.d. city —I'm lookin' at you, Drizzy haters—but you can't deny the beat on "Poetic Justice". You have Scoop DeVille to thank for that, as he laced the track with a serious Janet Jackson sample flip and choice drums. Someone on the web found the instrumental for it and, well, here we are. Enjoy, y'all. [ via ]

O link pra download e a tracklist seguem logo abaixo. Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City (The Samples) Tracklist : 01. Prologue 02. Dreamscape Interlude (Prod. by Gianni Lee) 03. Boom Clap Bachelors - Tiden Flyver [...]
![[Mixtape] Kendrick Lamar: Good Kid M.A.A.D City (The Samples)](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4582959_lg.jpg)
Today a day after the most talked about album of the year, the good folks at Babylon Cartel have brought us into the depths of the album only places Dr.Dre, Kendrick and his producers have seen. In today's #GKMC post, we have the samples that helped shape the LP, which unsurprisingly cover a wide variety of genre's and age groups. Beach House, Grant Green, Kool And The Gang, Twin Sister, Kanye West make appearances here. Click Here To Download 1.Prologue 2. Dreamscape Interlude [...]
I know I wasn't the only one picking up on samples when good kid, m.A.A.d. city first leaked. Thanks to Babylon Cartel, we now get an inside look at the samples used on the album, track for track. Just as we suspected, Beach House was included on "Money Trees", the Jay Rock featuring street anthem. We also find tracks from the likes of Janet Jackson, Twin Sister, Kool and the Gang and much more. No wonder why there was a minor delay in the release of this album, the clearance tedious must have been [...]
