Maryland singer/songwriter Camille Michelle Gray's acoustic version of Kendrick Lamar's "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" (maybe our favorite track on GKMC) is really really good. The playing isn't 100% perfect, you can tell that this performance was more of a one off, but Camille's soulfulness and the skill with which she interprets Kendrick's intricate lyricism are both of the highest quality. Since Lady Gaga tweeted her praise of Kendrick Lamar, little monsters everywhere knew a collaboration track was in the works. A few days back Gaga leaked the video release of Kendrick's chill track "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe," and I must admit that I'm plesantly surprised how well her voice works.

All new music video for the original version of Kendrick Lamar 's "B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe"  single featuring Lady Gaga  has just made its way to the internet. I never got the whole Lady Gaga obsession but that being said after living with my girlfriend for two years and having her listening on the regular I *kind of* do understand it all a little better. I was also a little confused when Kendrick Lamar released his album good kid, m.A.A.d. city and she didn't feature considering those two seemed to be the best of friends at one point last year. The Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar collabo talk reach a high point over the summer when Gaga popped up at Kendrick's set during Pitchfork Fest.  Despite best efforts, the music part just didn't work out as planned.  In a 'show you what you're missing' type of move, Lady Gaga released her demo-version of "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe".  The song comes with a homemade video as well, taken from Gaga's time in South America. Earlier in the year, Kendrick Lamar received a lot of attention when Lady Gaga came to see his Pitchfork performance, leading to an announcement that the pair would be working together on a project.
