The Underachievers present the first part documenting their recent trip out to California. After playing a show in Salt Lake City, Issa Dash & AK flew to LA for a New Years Eve show with Kendrick Lamar at the Orange County Observatory. It's been too long since we've last heard any new material from Kid Kodak , or anyone else in the Jet Lag crew. Can't really hold a grudge since they've been off working toward higher educations and whatnot. Kid Kodak has now ended the silence with this extremely thoughtful track matched with some pretty sharp visuals. The talented High 5 Collective film crew kills it whenever they get behind the lens. And that remains true with both their official and fan-made clips, with their latest falling into the latter category. They decided to shoot a short film based on Kendrick Lamar 's "Collect Calls", a bonus track off good kid, m.A.A.d. city . The resulting visuals are equally harrowing and gripping, and you just might need to watch a few times to fully digest what's going on. Check it out below.

good kid, m.A.A.d city was our favourite album of 2012. We listened to it endlessly and enjoyed the visual nature of the album and stories within. Kendrick Lamar recently released the video for Backstreet Freestyle. The black and white video does a great job complimenting the track. After listening to the album and getting to know the characters it was great to see Sherane and the parents for the first time. They do not disappoint.

Someone had a WET dream, someone had a WET dream, is probably a plausible remix after seeing Sherane  backseat assets. I'm pretty sure it's a few of our readers would allow her brother to beat them up a few times if it meant having the slightest chance of supplying bandz to make her dance.  Back to the video, even though Kendrick has had a terrible track record with music visuals ( Vashtie  we haven't forgave you yet) this one has a few memorable moments like the domino skit with his parents, the obvious Sherane cameo, and rapping in front of Paris penis aka [...]

The best album of 2012 is producing some great videos so far.  K Lamar hits the gay streets of Pari rockin' all L.A. Kings gear and then of course he hits L.A. for the booty shots with Sherane .  "Damn he got bitches."

Kendrick Lamar gives us a monochrome insight into his lifestyle, his family, and his Compton upbringing in his self-directed video for the good kid, m.A.A.d. city track "Backseat Freestyle". The five-minute clip perfectly captures the feeling of the song, but the highlight is easily Kendrick's representation of his father's undying quest for Domino's pizza. Kendrick Lamar 's "Backseat Freestyle" finds the Compton MC spitting a good, old-fashioned batch of thudding, in-your-face boasts (including the silly/brilliant "I pray my dick get big as the Eiffel Tower / So I can fuck the world for 72 hours.") The black-and-white video is equally blunt, showing K-Dot going from Compton to Paris to see exactly how big the Eiffel Tower is. In between, there's a spoken interlude centering on that evasive Domino's pizza from Lamar's stellar  good kid, m.A.A.d city , and an extended shot of him standing motionless next [...]

Even though I'm not too fond of this particular track, I realize it's placement on Good Kid M.A.A.D. City. Here are the visuals to the song. It makes me like the song more, so for those who love it, will be very pleased by the results.

One of my favorite tracks off Good Kid, m.A.A.d city gets the visual treatment. And of course the setting is in Paris.
