Wow, 50 with a decent hook and a nice verse.  We expect the best from K. Lamar but 50 hasn't been in my sights for a minute.  We think this track might appear on Kidd Kidd's next mixtape but 50 will serve primary tonight.

Kendrick Lamar hit SNL this weekend, and showed that, almost frighteningly, he's still getting even better. His live act sounds more polished with every appearance he makes, and he simply killed his full band-backed renditions of "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and "Poetic Justice." It makes us hope that  his Governor's Ball appearance   this June will be part of a larger tour in support of  good kid, m.A.A.d city.  And if that wasn't enough Kendrick for you, the Compton emcee also appeared in Lonely Island's  hilarious [...]

It's about time someone made fun of this stupid "YOLO" shit, and who better to do it than the guys of The Lonely Island . In the latest of the SNL digital short's, the crew teams up with Maroon 5's Adam Levine and rapper Kendrick Lamar to warn against the hazards of living in general. Kendrick Lamar was the musical guest on SNL last night and did a great job. He looked cool and collected, as if he's performed on it many times before. He even participated in a new Lonely Island digital short song "YOLO" which also featured host, Adam Levine. Don't call it a comeback, but The Lonely Island are back with their take on the You Only Live Once mantra popularized by Drake. Taking the opposite approach, they preach about safe ways of living moderately, in order to prolong the date before you only die once. Last night was a victory for the TDE team as Kendrick Lamar made his debut on  Saturday Night Live . With a live band behind him, the Compton spitter tackled good kid, m.A.A.d. city singles " Swimming Pools (Drank) " and " Poetic Justice ", the latter sans Drake. But that wasn't it! Saturday Night Live is a proving ground for late-night television, serving as a reminder for the mainstream of who's got it and who doesn't. Kendrick Lamar proved that last night when he performed on the long-running sketch comedy show.
