Assuming that he doesn't decide to cancel his show at the last minute so he can play at the Granada instead, one of my all time favorite vocalist/performers Leon Redbone will be playing the Kessler tonight. No matter what you think of Jeff Liles and crew it shouldn't stop anybody from missing what is sure to be one of the best shows Dallas will host all year purely out of spite. =w=

There is another great show coming to the Cincinnati area, and we want to make sure you check it out. Interpol are returning to Cincinnati in a couple weeks after having a May show cancelled after the band decided to instead play a run of shows opening for U2. The show is slated for July 6th at Bogarts and as a nice bonus, Asobi Seksu are opening the show. Two quality bands for the price of....well...nothing. We have a handful of tickets to give away here on ENS, and we really [...]

The last few years have been ones of drastic change for Interpol. The college radio superstars’ move to Capitol records proved short-lived, yielding only one record in more keyboard-leaning (but perhaps not as consistently lauded as their early work) Our Love to Admire. Since that time, the band made their way back to their original indie label home at Matador Records and released a self-titled record, leaning even further away from the sound of their mostly guitar-filled first two albums. However, they came out of the sessions for Interpol minus a core member: bassist, keyboardist, [...]
