You can't ask Kid Cudi to be any more than who he is -  a proud stoner, actor, and, most notably, an electronica-addicted rapper and producer. That kind of integrity within may be good for him on a personal level, but when it comes to music, he doesn't seem to have risen to the occasion. Kid Cudi is one of rap's most enigmatic characters. After making it big off a fantastic mixtape , and a strong debut album , Cudi released the strange followup Man on the Moon II, which featured dark, space-y tracks and nihilistic tones. After that he made a strange, and not very good, garage rock side project WZRD. But finally, the kid named Cudi has returned to rap - mostly. The final first-week numbers for Kid Cudi's supremely disappointing new album,  Indicud , are in and it's looking pretty good for the Cleveland native. Despite leaks and weak reviews, the record still shipped 136,000 units and almost sold enough to top the Billboard. That spot went to Fall Out Boy and, um, LOL. But I digress. For those wondering, Cudi's previous albums, the two  Man On The Moon projects, sold 104,000 and 169,000 copies in their first weeks. As for his WZRD album, it moved 66,000 units at the jump. While the numbers aren't official yet, Kid Cudi is projected to sell around 140,000-155,000 copies of his recently released Indicud. Despite an early leak and a changed release date, this might put the Kid at the top of the Billboard by the time numbers are released. Quite the feat considering how lackluster the album actually is . Which goes to show you how well the music industry is picking up, and how far having such a loyal set of fans can go.

Las hermanas se convirtieron en coristas El trío de Los Angeles, HAIM , ocuparon el puesto de coristas en el nuevo álbum de Kid Cudi . Kid Cudi has tackled hip hop and television, so the logical next step is....collaborations with indie buzzbands? Apparently that's the case on "Red Eye," which comes off his soon-to-be-released third album, Indicud . What a day for Kid Cudi and his upcoming  Indicud  album. Earlier today we got our first listen to Cudi's Kendrick Lamar-assisted track, "Solo Dolo Pt. II" , now Mr. Rager has dropped another track off the album, this one features guest spots from A$AP Rocky and Cudi's fellow Clevelander and good friend, King Chip. "Brothers" is one of the better tracks I've heard from the album and features three pretty great verses and a hook that showcases Cudi flexing the vocals. Check it out below.

Indicud sprung a leak? Not a problem for Kid Cudi. Via Twitter, he posted the message "I aint trippin bout my album leakin. Im the best. Love it. April 23. [...]

Kid Cudi's  Indicud  is due out in a few weeks (though it's already leaked online) and, to hype up the anticipation, Cudi just dropped another track from the upcoming album. "Solo Dolo Pt. II" is another pretty solid effort from what looks to be a promising album. The song features Cudi going hard on a bass-heavy track along with a guest appearance from hip-hop's newest superstar, Kendrick Lamar. Check it out:
