You can't ask Kid Cudi to be any more than who he is - a proud stoner, actor, and, most notably, an electronica-addicted rapper and producer. That kind of integrity within may be good for him on a personal level, but when it comes to music, he doesn't seem to have risen to the occasion. On his latest record, Indicud, he has moments of genius that recall his earlier work, but he never fully commits, or grows beyond the Kid Cudi [...]
Wait, Kid Cudi and Compton's Kendrick Lamar on one track? Bless this Monday. Today Cudder released "Solo Dolo Pt. 2" featuring the California spitter because well, Indicud leaked out on the web. While that kinda sucks for artists, it can still boost sales and buzz about the music, so Cudi ain't even mad bro. You tweeted out a link for this track and shared his thoughts on the album leak, which basically indicated he's not tripping. The album is out April 23rd, but for now check out "Solo Dolo Pt. 2." [...]

I know personally, I'm pretty pumped about Kid Cudi 's return and have been addicted to his unique sound since he burst on to the hip hop scene back in 2009. On the latest cut called "Girls" the Cleveland native teamed up with Bay Area rapper Too $hort and this should probably make the fans of Cudders materiel prior to WZRD happy as it retains that flow and hook people loved so much. You'll find this song on his upcoming April 23rd release of Indicud . Get pumped. Fresh? [...]

I'm a huge Kid Cudi fan. Despite what many say, each project Cudi released is intriguing in their own way, truly showcasing the growth every artist show strive for. On April 23rd, we will get his 3rd solo LP titled Indicud. With fan favorites like "Just What I Am" and "King Wizard", the 18- track LP looks very dope with features from King Chip, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, John Misty, RZA and Haim. Oh and Michael Bolton. Yup. Peep the entire tracklist below and pre-order Indicud via Amazon . 1. The Resurrection Of Scott Mescudi [...]

A few days ago Kid Cudi had mentioned that he would be releasing some new music soon and he sure did with a song called "Immortal," which he also produced. Lately it seems Cudi has really been focused and in to producing his own material, but it's cool with me. This one he samples MGMT and keeps the relaxed vibes and great melodies intact, something that he has been known for most of his career. This is most likely his third single from his anticipated third album, Indicud , which [...]

Just came back from The XX live in Paris (at le 104, which is conveniently located 30 seconds down the street from my place, nothing too fancy up in here, really it's the pits). Had a pleasant time with Sabby (Editor of WS.fr with me and one half of the parentals : Mother). We had an enjoyable smooth night sailing through the short-ish set of London's muched talked about trio. They performed a good selection from both Albums and a brilliant rendition of Wham's classic 'All I Want For Christmas". Not to mention some pretty slick guitar and instrumentals on [...]
![[new]: Big Boi – She Hates Me (Feat. Kid Cudi)](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4650519_lg.jpg)
Next week Big Boi's Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors finally comes out. He's already leaked a good chunk of the album, with the Kid Cudi featured "She Hates Me" being the latest. It's a solid cut from Big Boi who slows things down a bit, allowing Kid Cudi to work in a very-Cudi hook. Overall, a very smooth cut. Slow down on those year end lists people. Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors is sounding good.

Cudderisback. No, really. The Man on the Moon is back. After showing his rapping self for a capricious 30 seconds on Hit-Boy 's "Old School Caddy", the Kid Cudi of old made his full reappearance late last night on "Just What Iam", the first leak from his forthcoming Indicud album. Alongside him is another new (but not really) face: King Chip , the artist formerly known as Chip Tha Ripper and Cudi's longtime collaborator. Both artists kill it on some Cudder [...]

Hit-Boy 's second song as a rapper is the long-awaited, often-teased "Old School Caddy" collaboration with G.O.O.D. Music fam Kid Cudi . This time, the producer-turned-rapper got behind the tables himself to churn out his own production, which fits perfectly with Kid Cudi's energetic Man On The Moon / A Kid Named Cudi era flow. Cudi is actually only on the song for about 36 seconds (one short verse after Hit-Boy spits his two), but his presence is huge, especially since Hit-Boy still sounds like he's trying to find his voice and [...]

Not quite sure how this came about, but the new Ghost Recon game will come with a brand new song by TDE's Kendrick Lamar . Titled "War Is My Love", the song features a synth-heavy beat that reminds me of Kid Cudi 's "Mr. Rager". As always, Kendrick kills his verses with his lyricism and haunting rhymes. The hook isn't necessarily the greatest, but considering this was made for a game soundtrack, I guess it's not too shabby. Give it a listen below. MP3: [...]
This isn't the hip hop your mother warned you about. Proe belongs to the school of hip-hop that is still musically sound enough to call itself hip-hop, but not actually bad-ass enough to earn any real street cred. But sometimes being bad-ass isn't actually what hip-hop is about; it is about playing with sound in a way that other styles can't. His lyrics don't touch much on dangerous and criminal undertakings, and for those of us who sometimes can't stand to always fill our minds with filth, but still appreciate the triumph of a [...]
Listen below to Kid Cudi 's newest single, "Dennis, Hook Me Up With Some More Of That Whisky!" Kid Cudi returns with his first solo track since 20102s "Man On The Moon, Vol. II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager" . Since then the multi-talented artist has been singing on his side-project, WZRD , a duo with producer Dot Da Genius who has procured most of the rapper's beats throughout the years. The duo's self-titled [...]

Since putting out the critically acclaimed album The Suburbs , Arcade Fire did not release any new music up until now, when the band unveiled their contribution to the soundtrack for The Hunger Games . The anthemic "Abraham's Daughter" was first made available by Entertainment Weekly , but has since been removed from their website. You can still listen to the track here . "Abraham's Daughter" is set to appear on the upcoming film's soundtrack alongside new work from The Decemberists , [...]

Any longtime Kid Cudi fan is familiar with the story of the long-lost "Dose of Dopeness" track produced by Dot Da Genius , who produced Cudi's entire new rock album WZRD . Recorded all the way back in 2008, "Dose of Dopeness" was a live favorite but was never fully finished and released. After countless delays and pushbacks, Dot Da Genius finally liberated the track via Twitter. It's clearly classic Cudder with his old melodic, sing-songy flow and even features him rapping about how underground his music is. [...]
![[Album Review/Listen] – Jay-Z & Kanye West – “Watch The Throne” Track By Track](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3642862_lg.jpg)
Tweet I feel I should preface this review by admitting that I've been a Kanye West fan ever since I heard "Jesus Walks", and while I don't admire Jay-Z 's musical prowess quite as much as that of his protege, I have mad respect for him as a rap legend. Both of them brought their A-game to the table this time around, making "Watch The Throne" absolute fire . That's hip-hop for "really good stuff". Hova and Yeezy are the sole proprietors of feel-good gangster [...]

Remixing some big name songs has become sort of the norm, in fact, that is even how some DJ's/producers get noticed. Here we have a remix of Kid Cudi's "Pursuit of Happiness" by Hatiras . Cudi's music has gotten the remix treatment plenty of times, this song being one of them. The updated "Pursuit of Happiness" has a more dance and electro vibe too it, but I like the direction of it. Listen below. Via Hypetrak Fresh? [...]
Tweet This post is a "QuickPick". QuickPicks are my attempt at getting all of the music that's sent to me that I like (or just music I like but have no words for because it's so awesome), out into the dubya dots. Any time I get sent music that I like I "star" it in Gmail and then go back and listen to it a day later. If it's still as good as it was a day before then it goes up on the [...]

After having some issues with download link, KiD CuDi finally dropped a good link to his new track " Perfect is the Word " to all his fans on twitter tonight. I'm assuming this will be on his new album with 2 Be Continuum. .The tracks kinda weird..but i like it...but yall know how I feel about Cudder. smh.
