Kid Cudi may have pushed back his collaborative album with Dot Da Genius , WZRD , from January 31 to February 28, but he did release a new single from the album, the Drive soundtrack-sampling "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie." The atmospheric jam is almost entirely void of the riffage Cudi and Genius threw on other WZRD track "Brake" . With news a few weeks ago that the collaborative project between KiD CuDi and Dot Da Genius known as WZRD was going to be pushed back to Feb. 28, the duo took to the internet today to unleash a new track to hold the fans over. It is called "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie" and it features more of that sorrowful emotion that CuDi is so good at expressing. This song was dedicated to the mother of CuDi's daughter, so the drowning adlibs filled with yearning and remorse are certainly expected. Hit the skip to stream the single.

Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius still putting on some finishing touches.

Last month Kid Cudi let a snippet of "Teleport 2 Me" out from WZRD's debut album. The album is slated to come out on January 30; I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it doesn't get pushed back. The band finally debuted the full version at the Heatwave Festival. I usually don't like posting videos like these but I'm absolutely in love with this song and it's gotten me pretty excited for the whole project.

Kid Cudi hit the stage last night as a headlining act for the Heatwave Festival in Middleton, South Australia. During his set he debuted a complete version of the new track "Teleport 2 Me", which up to this point we've only heard a short snippet of. Granted this is an amateur video recording of the performance, so it's far from CDQ, but overall it sounds pretty decent. What do you guys think, does this heighten your anticipation for the WZRD project? ( DNC )
