Speaking of bands that open for The Neighbourhood , Lovelife is a band I found out about when I went to see The Neighbourhood at The Studio at Webster Hall (those guys really keep good company). Last week I went to watch The Killers for the fest time in years. As it happens it was the show in which Brandon and co left the stage 5 songs in due to his voice packing in. Yeah, that was a bummer. So I didn't get to enjoy many of the band's hits let along any covers! Pasó con Terry Gilliam y Arcade Fire , en su concierto en el Madison Square Garden. KROQ just premiered "Runaways," the first single off The Killers' Battle Born. Battle Born is the Las Vegas rock band's fourth studio album and "Runaways" sounds like a return to the band's more Americana album Sam's Town. Stream it in the video below!

The Killers have been away on a lengthy hiatus after the 2008 release of the lumbering Day & Age , which makes their return extra exciting as it may well be the kick up the ass the band seem to need. The Killers cut into their album recording time to soundtrack the closing credits of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp's new film, Dark Shadows with this cover of The Raspberries' 1972 classic "Go All The Way". You may be aware that Tim Burton has a new film coming out rather soon and surprisingly enough it stars Johnny Depp in a leading role. The film in question is Dark Shadows , and was released yesterday for opening weekend. As with all films, it comes with a soundtrack on on said soundtrack The Killers appear covering The Rasberries' 1972 track "Go All the Way". Check it out below via Radio 104.5 and let us know if you've seen the film, not fully sold on it from the trailers.
