When Soundgarden took a final bow in 1997, guitarist Kim Thayil didn't hold out much hope for reuniting with his old bandmates. But following a well-received reunion gig at Lollapalooza in 2010, Thayil and his bandmates' icy feelings toward reuniting thawed, and with a new album in tow, this week's  King Animal , the reunion has officially come around full circle for the celebrated grunge heroes.
