Back in September King Krule dropped "Octopus" , the second track from a double A-side single with "Rock Bottom" , released via Rinse, and now the barebones London producer has released the Paraic and Michael Morrissey-directed video for "Octopus" . King Krule sort son nouveau clip de Rock Bottom et son nouvel EP chez RINSE , la radio indé londonienne la plus connue dans ce milieu musical. Le chouchou de tous les médias musicaux outre-manche mais aussi sur notre territoire, est passé il y a quelques semaines dans notre belle capitale. L'occasion pour nous d'aller voir ce jeune phénomène en chair et en os (surtout en os). Je ne vais pas vous faire une review détaillée mais je suis encore mitigé sur cette prestation de 45 minutes qui m'a vraiment laissé sur ma fin. [...]
Le jeune et enigmatique artiste King Krule nous dévoile le clip de son titre Rock Bottom , encensé par les médias début septembre. Une vidéo sombre dans laquelle le pauvre se fait attaquer par un chien, tabasser dans un couloir par des hommes en costume et pire encore se retrouve face à une créature étrange à tête de cactus. Une magnifique chanson en outre, entre son jeu de guitare assassin et sa voix surprenante.

We’ve heard 1/2 of the upcoming King Krule double A side (in the minimal jazzy “Rock Bottom”), and now we can stream the other A side, “Octopus”.
