Oh King Tuff . Your music is so effing addictive and fun-loving that it makes me want to bust out and do the Carlton dance every time I hear a new song from you. And your new track "Screaming Skull" is absolutely right on par with that sentiment, if not above and beyond. It is just so simple but so good at the same time that it is near impossible to not be tapping your feet along to this beat only a few delightful chords in. This new track is the A-side to [...]

LA based Kyle Thomas is the creative force behind the garage rock outfit King Tuff . King Tuff released their self-titled, second album a few months back and it’s replete with sunny, melodic garage rock songs with enough variety and change of pace to make for a fun and engaging listen. Check out – Alone and Stoned, Baby Just Break The Rules and Swamp Of Love – my favourite tracks on the album [...]
King Tuff has released a video for "Alone and Stoned", the second single from his recently released self-titled album. The new video stars King Tuff, alongside his band mates and friends like Hunx & His Punx, Shannon & The Clams and more. Watch the video after the jump. Tour Dates

Don’t lie, we’ve all gotten high by ourselves and done weird shit in our bedrooms. King Tuff visualizes this in his video for “Alone & Stoned”. Whether our cast of characters are playing clarinets, fondling puppies, or rocking out with their headphones on, they’re just being happy in the once place they can’t be judged. The lovable garage rock track is the perfect song to do all this, I must say. You can buy King Tuff’s self titled debut now . He has also announced a huge fall [...]

Song: "Wild Desire" + "Hole In My Head" Artist: King Tuff This is technically a "SongS Diary" because I just can't bear to write about only one side of this delicious slab of vinyl. I bought a bunch of Suicide Squeeze singles a few months back and this is the one that's been getting consistent spins at home. What's more, I can't get through the wild ride of "Wild Desire" without immediately flipping it and singing along to "Hole In My Head". King Tuff 's garage rock styles somehow [...]
Atlanta’s garage rock bad boys brought their insane energy to a great show in the OC.

AL LOVER "SATANIC TAMBOURINES" On a monthly basis, Dead Horse March will be requesting that its writers reach deep down inside themselves to sift through the many discoveries that they have made that month and pick the artist who lies closest to their heart. This is the metaphorical mountain top where we will stand and scream out "I love ____, I'm so glad I found you, ____!" We want to shed light on recent discoveries who do not have just one song or [...]
Only discovered, King Tuff today, but thank god I did. I stumbled upon their brilliant video for the equally amazing “Bad Thing”. The bands acts as ghouls in a campy haunted house tale, that concludes in a live show. The song and video are tons and tons of fun. They just released their S/T new record yesterday through Sub Pop. get it over here . King Tuff - “Bad Thing” Facebook Twitter

Not sure if you will be able to handle the in your face throwback punk stylings of King Tuff and their new album? Well then check out their new video for " Bad Things " below and see if that changes your mind at all. It has a bunch of cheesy haunted house costumes that turn a scary night into a rocking good old time. Still not convinced? Okay, then go ahead and listen to the entire self-titled album King Tuff courtesy of SubPop below. You're welcome... [...]

Another new track off of King Tuff's upcoming album dropped over the weekend and once again I find myself listening to it nonstop and can't help thinking about good old punk music being created in someone's garage. And I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. "Keep On Movin'" is just so simple and fun-loving that you can't help but find yourself nodding your head along to their vintage sound. Definitely looking forward to their new album King Tuff which will be out May 29th. [...]

New music release from the modern day 70's glam rockers King Tuff just dropped and I gotta say I'm really digging the punk vibe on this track. The Lo-fi quality, the fast paced drums and the nasally vocals really bring me back. It's almost as if "Bad Thing" was recorded back in punk's golden age and just resurfaced in some rarities or B-side offering of lost tapes. "Bad Thing" is off of King Tuff's upcoming self-titled album King Tuff which is currently due for release on May 29th. And if this song is any [...]
