With the GOP's impending Florida primary dominating national discourse this week, California outfit Princeton come through with a finely cut indie-pop nugget well timed to ride some sweet politico SEO coattails. Kisses - Johnny & Mary (Robert Palmer cover) A long loved IGIF favorite, Kisses , have been hard at work on their second LP the past year. If you were with us in March for our Killer Tofu party, you've already got a little taste and if not.. you suck. Not entirely though, Kisses released a new cover of Robert Palmer's "Johnny & Mary". It's a terrific rendition that makes the most of Jesse Kivel's smooth, deep vocals and Zinzi Edmundson's sultry synth manipulation.
