The Cocteau Twins second album, Head Over Heels, is so close to faultless. It was recorded in 1983 (yet feels at least a decade before its time) and was the first to feature solely Elizabeth Fraser and Robin Guthrie. Released in 1973 and from their essential Future Days album (the fourth Can LP and the last to feature Japanese vocalist Damo Suzuki ) is shorter and poppier than some of the back catalogue.
