Working in music the last few years, I've had the chance to collaborate with really incredible people behind the scenes: filmmakers, engineers, graphic designers, writers - those individual's whose art it is to facilitate art. The guys from La Blogotheque have been incredibly supportive of both Song, by Toad and, in particular, Meursault over the last few years, but due to their living in Paris and I in Scotland I've never actually met them in person. Ça m'a titillée à peu près à partir du printemps 2010, quand WU LYF a commencé à nous balader aux quatre coins de l'internet mondial. Des gamins talentueux, des inconnus bien malins qui faisaient revivre un amour et un intérêt pour l'Angleterre quasi-mort chez moi, depuis bien longtemps. I'm not sure what it is exactly, but all the Parisians I know seem to exude a coolness that's just not possible for us london folk. A certain je ne sais quoi, if you will.
