The week is almost over, for some of you it's started already. So let's start this weekend off on the right foot! Featured Artist: DJ Kue A relatively local guy to us, based out of San Jose, CA. DJ Kue is quickly becoming one of dance music's fastest rising deejays and producers. His music has reached out to many and he also has several official remixes for artists. Childish Gambino Big Time Rush Karmin [...]

After the wild success of the last Anomaly, with Porter Robinson and Bass Jackers fronting the bill, the show returns to Terminal 5 on Saturday, March 31st. With an awesome lineup that features EO favorite Pierce Fulton, Laidback Luke, Martin Solveig, and a rare NYC appearance by Felguk , this night is sure to be massive. Terminal 5 is also a fantastic venue for EDM, and I have seen many gigs there (including Justice and Boys Noize) and consistently been blown away by the production and sound quality. Tickets are on sale HERE . [...]

Finally! After over a year of buzz in YouTube comment boxes, Twitter and the blogesphere, Laidback Luke and Wynter Gordon's 'Speak Up' finally has a release date and official preview. As you may recall, we pegged this as our No. 10 most anticipated release of 2012 . It's good to see many of our selections getting release dates withing the first quarter of 2012. Difference with this one is, 'Speak Up' is the oldest of our litter . Long over due. This will be released on March 12 and will have a [...]
Laidback Luke is prepping to release his single, "Speak Up," which features the typically-coquettish vocals of Wynter Gordon. The tune has been floating around the blogosphere for some time now but it will finally be released on Beatport March 12th. Alongside the original, remixes from Chris Lake, Mark Knight, Oliver Twizt, Moska, and Das Kapital will be released. Never one too shy away from harder sounds, LBL incorporates thumping bass lines, aggressive build ups, and heavy drops that make the brain rattle. We can't wait to hear what the other producers have done with this track. [...]
Straight out of San Luis Obispo, DJ MAKJ (20 year-old Producer/Mackenzie Johnson) has been consistently turning out immensely popular tracks and remixes among the EDM community - and he is certainly no stranger to PB&J™. Everyone from Tiesto, Hardwell, Laidback Luke, Chuckie, Steve Aoki, R3hab, Wolfgang Gartner and Lil Jon (to name a few) have jumped on board [...]

Earlier today I happened upon a half finished web page for something called Spring Awakening Music Festival. This supposed festival is slated to hit Soldier Field June 16th and 17th in Chicago. The half finished web page wasn't up for long, so I wasn't able to lurk the page for long, but on the page [...]

This remix does you dirty in two places, body and soul. Part inspirationelectro and part club banger, I would put this in my jogging playlist and also into my livesets when I DJ in Ibiza (yeah right). Will Afonso has some sick remixes on his facebook page, especially his version of Maroon 52s 'Moves Like Jagger'. Swedish House Mafia and Laidback Luke - Leave The World Behind (Will Afonso Remix) Related posts: Swedish House Mafia – Save The World (CAZZETTE [...]
We're all used to talking about three DJ's teaming up to form an EDM super group, but Laidback Luke, Norman Doray, and Arno Cost are giving a whole new meaning to the word 'Trilogy'. Starting off with a melodic, uplifting progressive rhythm and some subtle vocal cuts, 'Trilogy' shapes up to be a massive hit. [...]

Arno Cost and Norman Doray have been known to collaborate on many tracks like "Chase The Sun" and "The Days To Come." This time around DA favorite, Laidback Luke, joins the crew to create "Trilogy." While this may be considered 'soft' for most Laidback Luke productions it is still an impressive progressive track that is sure to be a favorite with all house music consumers. The chant in the background reminds us of the acapella version of "Blau!" Luke has been known to sample voices and incorporate them into the bassline. We hope this trio continues to produce [...]

Sick. Mixmash Records finally uploaded an official preview of a very long awaited track - Laidback Luke, Arno Cost & Norman Doray - Trilogy . EO named it one of our most anticipated tracks for 2012 , considering that Norman Doray dropped it all the way back in July at Tomorrowland, sans release date. It goes without saying that Laidback , Arno and Norman are masters of production. The fact that they teamed up 100% guarantees a killer tune. Look for this destructive track to be out in full [...]

Two of my favorite mixes both with a twist, just by looking at the artist names you can already tell what you are going to get. David Guetta and Avicii are going to deliver their typical beats we have all grown to love. But Jonathan Mendelsohn and Ferry Corsten will deliver their anthem type of beat, so pick your poison. Out today on Mixmash Records, Laidback Luke officially released his remix of 'Dancin' by Aaron Smith featuring Luvli. It's been making the rounds in Luke's sets and was one of the highlight tracks of his Holy Ship set. LBL discusses how much he loved the vocals on the track and said that tune got such amazing feedback that he had no choice but to make this tune an official remix. Have to say I agree with his opinion of the vocals and to be able to coalesce awesome vocals with an LBL touch makes for some [...]
