London was full of love as the Lovebox Festival celebrated its 10th year this past weekend. The three-day event was held in the Victoria Park, Tower Hamlets section of the British city, and boasted a lineup that included Lana Del Rey (who traipsed around on stage in giant white sneakers), "Celebrate" crooner Mika (he performed new tune "Make You Happy" from his upcoming album), Kelis (who is rumored to be working on a new album) and Scottish songstress [...]

On Sunday night, at precisely 8 P.M., Irving Plaza's doors opened for  Lana Del Rey 's final New York City show, or what should be described as a microcosm of a "Promo Tour." Exactly two hours and two minutes later, at 10:02 P.M., Lana made a nonchalant entrance onto her flower / palm tree / bush decorated stage. Lana Del Rey popped over to blighty this weekend to perform on The Voice. As most of her TV performances, it proved to be much-spoken of in terms of her vocal wobble. By now you know that we have more than a small soft spot for the Leeds noisemakers know as Pulled Apart By Horses . Today they were the guests on Fearne Cotton's BBC Radio One show and they were there to have a chat along with play some tunes in the Live Lounge . This is one of the highlight tracks on Born To Die . It should be a single sometime soon, possibly towards the end as it is darker and more sombre than the other radio-ready ones. This week started with Lana Del Rey, so why not end with her too? Thursday night's performance of Video Games on American Idol was a big moment for her, and her first since her much-slammed appearance on Saturday Night Live. It's a very good performance. Hardly carefree given the songs sombre tone but she clearly has a lot more confidence. Katy Perry - Getty Katy Perry and Lana Del Rey landed in Berlin, Germany yesterday (March 22) to perform their latest singles at the 2012 Echo Awards. Katy's new video for her latest chart-topping single "Part Of Me" features the pop princess lacing up her combat boots in bootcamp, but for her Echo Awards performance of the track, she had a weird futuristic space girl theme as she threw on a sparkly bodysuit, long blue ponytail, and (awkwardly) danced around the stage with her dancers.
