Lana del Rey - Dark Paradise (Parov Stelar Remix) Lana del Rey hasn’t been my cup of tea since that terrible Summer Sadness song that sounded like a generic version of every other Lana del Rey song, ever. But my point is not to accuse her of being the Modern Talking of contemporary pop. My point is to say, look at Parov Stelar, remixing the big stars and getting signed to Universal and shaping up to become even bigger than he already is.
While some mash-up producers are pretty good, I tend to avoid most of the music created as it takes a really good mix for me to show interest. Carlos Serrano has displayed he has a good ear for bringing together songs, but on his latest he takes on Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful," which he made into a whole new creation.
