Last night,  My Morning Jacket  frontman  Jim James  returned to 30 Rock after showing audiences "A New Life" on Monday's episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon . This time, however, he sat in as the guest vocalist for house band The Roots , leaving the big stage open for the night's true musical guest:  Local Natives .
