This is the first in a series of five videos produced in connection with the release of Evidence's Layover EP, which we also learned would be a CD/DVD release today from this trailer on Nah Right . The Layover EP is scheduled to be released on November 25th.

The Layover EP is definitely on my most anticipated for 08 list. While I consider EV to be a very sub-par MC, most of the time anyway, I find his choices in production and his taste for collaborators to be quite the opposite. Case in point his first single, "For Whom The Bell Tolls", which boasts a very colorful cast of guests and a gravely dope instrumental. If this album will be anything like The Weatherman LP , it will definitely get quite a few spins [...]

Here's an introspective track from Evidence's Layover EP, which is due out November 25th. "For Whom The Bell Tolls" features production from Khrysis as well as some stellar guest appearances from Phonte of Little Brother and fellow West Coast MC Blu, arguably the two best MCs on the underground circuit. The Layover EP will feature guest appearances from Defari, the Alchemist, Phonte, Blu, Aloe Blacc & Will.I.Am. as well as production from the Alchemist, Khrysis and of course Ev himself.
