Exeter blues/punk band The Computers will be releasing their second album 'Love Triangles Hate Squares' on the 29th of April on One Little Indian, so it makes perfect sense that the group will be touring in support of it in May and June. So what does the tour have to do with TGTF? We've managed to blag a pair each to their London 100 Club (Wednesday the 8th of May) and Manchester Deaf Institute (Saturday the 11th of May) shows and we want to give them away to two lucky TGTF readers. We were getting our collars hot about low-key producer FTSE back in the day (ie last month), but the vowel-averse beat creator has genuinely surpassed all expectations with ‘CNT HLP MSLF’. It’s a grimy, pummelling off-centre beat that welcomes you into three and a half minutes of constantly changing electronica. Not only does the track collapse to reveal a tender vocal, but at one point FTSE somehow ends up borderline rapping over a rumbling bassline that isn’t millions of miles away from something that The Weeknd would be proud of. Clubs' music is magnetic. I'll tell you this much- take one listen to their song Carry You , and I can assure you that "love, love love" will be running through your mind for hours. Leicester post-punk 3 piece We Three and The Death Rattle have unveiled their new single “Inpatients”. The blues-rock romp gets demanding female vocals to seduce us against dirty water riffs. New music video from the Leicester UK garage rockers Thee Ludds, "Skeleton Rider" is the B side from the new single "Crumhorn".

Young upstarts I Am In Love have been the recipients of the warm glow of hype for a little while now, which was confounded when they released their fantastic new single, 'PALM', last month. And now, they have a video for it. The track itself is a throbbing electro-pop song in the vein of The Big Pink and latter day Jack Penate, while the video is more colourful than a teletubbies' neon party. Having been featured by Radio 1 tastemaker Huw Stephens, it would appear that this Leicester four-piece have a big future ahead [...]
