There is some music made for the earliest of mornings, and some songs that just sound better with a cup of coffee. When it comes to "Morning Song" by the 5 piece Washington D.C. band Le Loup- well the name sort of says it all. The banjo riff has all of it's beauty in it's simplicity- and the band builds perfectly atop it to a swell only equivalent to the sun as it rises. Add a touch of the haunting Bon-Iver-esque vocals just as the coffee begins to drip- and, well, you have yourself a near perfect morning. [...]

Bellflur, a long-time presence in Washington, DC scene, has been acclaimed for years for its fierce stage performance and knack for making odd musical tendencies seem comprehensible to listeners of all genres.
