The forthcoming Live Earth India has been cancelled due to the recent attacks in Mumbai. Organizers for the charity festival, which was due to take place December 7, released a statement saying they are "shocked and saddened by the tragic events of the last few days". Live Earth is an annual world concert that takes place at locations all over the world and sets out to inform people about climate change. It's unfortunate that - for most people - the only indication they'll have had that there was meant to be a Live Earth concert this year would have come when it got canceled following the Mumbai attacks.

When Al Gore says Bon Jovi's coming to India, it usually happens. The bad thing is that you can learn little about the band's activities during 2007 because, of the four, only Moakes has updated his diary since summer 2006.
