I love watching great performances or well-made documentaries featuring my favorite artists from the comfort of my couch. In 2011 a number of fantastic music-related films came out and it was nearly impossible to pick the 10 best efforts, so for 20112s list of my favorite concert films of the year, I expanded the list to 15 and there were still a few fine efforts which didn't make the cut. So with that in mind, we continue our long-standing tradition of detailing my top music-related DVDs/Blu-Rays of the year... 15. [...]

Why yes. The folks at Fred Perry Subculture are getting into the gigging business - that is, the forward thinking clothing and cutting edge music finding company will be putting on monthly shows at London Garage. Split across three floors, each with their own diverse musical personality, this new night called Sub-Sonic Live will take place on the third Friday of each month, from 9.30 PM - 2.00 AM. Clearly, this is going to become one of the hottest nights out in the Capital. Friday the 18th of November [...]
The Godfather of the Blues lives up to his legend in London.

To me, it was inconceivable. Thin Lizzy without Phil Lynott could be a lot of things, but Thin Lizzy wasn't one of em. A cover band. A tribute, perhaps. but not Thin Lizzy . Not the real thing. Well, Phil can never be replaced. He remains one of the most galvanizing, mercurial figures in rock history. But the new version of Thin Lizzy playing his music are good. Damn good. Twenty five years have passed since Phil's untimely death. [...]
We, here, at Loft965.com are very excited for any tour DVD Kylie Minogue releases because she always dazzles unequivocally. This is probably one of our least favorite Kylie singles, but it's rockin' in the performance! Kreayshawn performs Gucci Gucci, in front of what look likes a sold out crowd, in London. I'm not a fan of her's but I know many of you are. The biggest problem with this song for me, is that it's a club track and she's the only on stage performing; no dancers, poor stage presence, it was just and incomplete act. But, that's just my opinion, Enjoy!
Rick Ross performed his verse from "Tupac Back" live at London's HMV Forum a few hours ago (20th June 2011). Killerhiphop was on hand to capture some footage and let me tell you the show was crazy. The fans were singing back the lyrics word for word on almost every track. Read the full Rick Ross Tupac Back Lyrics here. Gillian Welch - The Way It Will Be (Live in London)

evening! im gonna sound like a broken record here, which is nothing new for me, but if for some reason you have not bothered to check out any of grant lee buffalo's catalogue, you are doing yourself a huge disservice. as the kids would say, for reals. granted im partial to mighty joe moon - which clocked in at number 8 in my all time top 50, but really all their records are worthy of your attention, money, or bandwidth. they have their 30 song "best of and rarities" record storm hymnal for a measly 11 bucks on [...]
Dallas Green recently played a one off show in London for his fans at the Royal Albert Hall. With the show selling out in minutes he brought along his repetoire of acoustic sing along music as well as this cover of Adele 's "Hometown Glory". We've seen a huge number of covers for Adele's material following her launch into the stratosphere and reign at the top of the charts the world over with her sophomore album, 21. However this is a nice change from the tonne of "Rolling In The Deep" covers we have seen. An [...]
Joell Ortiz finished up his UK tour at Cargo in London and Sumit from HHC was their to capture the footage.
