Yesterday Arctic Monkeys premiered a brand new song during their appearance at Sweeden's Hultsfred Festival. The new song is a lovely ballad called "Mad Sounds." It's sounding great, and nothing like they've done yet. As if that should surprise you. Chicago's own  Na Palm recently wrapped up a solid string of Midwest dates travelling with DJ D-Lo and apparently his own crew of go-go dancers for what comes off as a high-energy tight-knit round of performances.  'Na has been in the game for a few years now bringing a hip-hop / edm flavor of material that's prone to shut any party down, with his late 2012 series   Electronic Chronic  highlighting that vibe.  This coming Friday he'll be hitting the stage at Chicago's  Spring Awakening Festival -  find more on that here and see his recent [...]

We linked up with York UK-based singer-songwriter Benjamin Francis Leftwich while he was in Los Angeles this past winter kicking off his debut headlining U.S. tour. We had the very distinct pleasure to capture a couple exclusive performances; including "Maps" filmed on the inside of a photobooth as well as an impromptu performance of "Break The Day Open" from his In The Open EP. Tonight our favorite fellas Arctic Monkeys made their live return with their first show of 2013 at the Ventura Theater, in Ventura, California. Their set was kicked off with a new song "Do I Wanna Know?" It's a live recording brought to us by my man Blake over at Arctic Monkeys US . It's sounding quite massive. A simple little riff that just builds and builds. It's great to hear some new Arctic Monkeys, especially when it sounds this good. Take a listen to "Do I Wanna Know?" below.

Cole appeared on  Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to perform "Power Trip," in support of his forthcoming album  Born Sinner , which will now release on June the 18th.  As always, The Roots were there to back the Roc Nation MC, giving the song even smoother riffs to make for an all-around great performance. Capping off what's been a very eventful week for Kanye West , the man performed to an anxious and excited audience on the Saturday Night Live season finale last night - taking "Black Skinhead" and "New Slaves" to the stage.  The power-packed tracks were brought with dim stage lighting, a full band, and resonating imagery - setting an appropriate environment for the premiere of "Black Skinhead" and the follow up to the globally-project "New Slaves".
