Hello! We're Light Parades, a four piece indie/alternative band from London, UK. On Thursday we were invited down to Shoreditch for the label launch party of Chormoza Recordings .  With upcoming releases in the deep/disco/garage side of house, their sound is right up our street.  We met up with label owners Zoe and Justin and enjoyed sets from the Chromoza DJs, including 21 year old Stranger and special guest D Ramirez .  The party was banging and everyone was having a damn good time. In 1927 Claude Friese-Greene shot some of the first-ever color film footage around London. He captured everyday life in the city with a technique innovated by his father, called Biocolour. Though we usually think of French names like Lumiere and Melies when we think of early film pioneers, Friese-Greene's technique captures London in striking detail, as if putting the whole city in a time capsule. Gorgeously infectious spaghetti western vibes are in abundance on the new track by London’s  Men’s Adventure . The pondering of lost cowboys are on display as the sun is just about to hit the ground for the night. Never before has the feeling of giving up felt so exuberant and playful. Their new Solitary Trip EP will be out June 24th on Dirty Bingo.

This is the first we’ve heard of Grum and the first single to be taken from his forthcoming album ‘Human Touch’ . There’s a number of remixes to go with it and it’s the Andre Crom remix that’s got our fancy – bringing the track a little more underground with some heavuer bass. Stream below.
