Off the release of his debut album titled #LTD, Till Von Sein is still dropping heat like no tomorrow. The album has received worldwide acclaim so far and quoted as one of the albums of the year by WhatPeoplePlay. No mean feat in itself. Here is a free download of something I'm sure didn't quite make the cut for the LP. However, it's still wonderful and totally worth your 67.6MB A little bonus mix from TVS at Ministry of Sound.

Hidden Shoal Recordings is proud to announce that pre-orders are now available for the CD re-issues of Slow Dancing Society's first three albums ahead of their official release on 19th May, 2011. Drew Sullivan's first three releases as Slow Dancing Society comprise a peerless ambient trilogy. Debut album The Sound of Lights When Dim is a sumptuous unfolding ride towards a fading horizon. As with Brian Eno's finest moments and David Sylvian's ambient explorations, the album manages to dissolve its temporal markers and speak about moments removed from time. [...]

McCauley, Goldsmith and Vasquez as Middle Brother I started hearing about a supergroup of Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, John McCauley III of Deer Tick and Matt Vasquez of Delta Spirit when they performed at "MG+V" at SXSW this year in March. Both Dawes and Delta Spirit played Daytrotter Barnstormer tours (Dawes in October 2009 and July 4th 2010; Delta Spirit in April/May 2010). The guys hit a studio in Nashville last fall to lay down the tracks with [...]

Hidden Shoal Recordings have announced the release of Loam Arcane , the new EP by American ambient experimental pop duo Boxharp . Loam Arcane is an EP of two mesmerising halves. The hallucinogenic pop of the first half springs to vivid life with opener 'FanFin', which ricochets with disorientating beats and refracted vocal melodies as if some sort of life-sized zoetrope. Sparkling single 'Rainbirds' follows, interweaving ambient textures with Wendy Allen's pure vocals, giving way to a transcendent harmonised middle eight. The melodies return, crested by sparkling, wavering tones [...]
