Lunice's Boiler Room set from last March has surfaced, and on top of providing a killer mix, the lively producer also brought out Flatbush Zombies and Mykki Blanco . En 2012 TNGHT a officiellement vu le jour sur scène (18 mars), explosé, et sortie un EP du tonnerre de dieu. Nous pouvons dire que le projet de Lunice et Hudson Mohawke ne peut qu'aller mieux dans les mois à venir quand on voit les notes et critiques de la presse. LuckyMe a dévoilé une vidéo en fin d'année enregistré lors du passage du groupe à Williamsburg (où Kanye West a fait sa petite apparition), et permet d'entendre un aperçu du titre « Windwalker », production du duo.
It's been an impressively eventful 2012 for TNGHT , the creative combo of Hudson Mohawke and Lunice, who's combined powers have production have made quite a statement in the past few months. Perhaps the biggest highlight was the buckwild show they put on at the end of November from the Williamsburg Music Hall, at which Kanye West himself made a brief appearance . LuckyMe put together the powerful compilation above highlighting that energetic evening, featuring Lunice going hard, a quick clip of 'Ye, and overwhelmed kids.
Remember that bonkers show TNGHT put on recently that featured a cameo from Kanye West ? Well, we're now seeing some official footage from the concert that really helps put everything into perspective. And by that I mean that you can pretty much feel the sweat dripping from the crowd's collective brow as they wyl' out to Lunice and Hudson Mohawke 's hype-as-all-hell set. Check it out below.
We already saw a clip from TNGHT 's NYC performance, primarily because Kanye West walked out to do "rapper hands." Today, LuckyMe has put up a two-minute clip, combining a bunch of bits from the performance, from Lunice going ham, the crowd going ham, and yes, Kanye rapper hands.
So apparently TNGHT , aka the duo of Lunice and Hudson Mohawke , have been playing a remix of Kanye West 's still-growing-on-me single "Cold" during recent sets. And while they were tearing the place down in New York City, none other than Yeezy hopped on the stage to the roar of the crowd as the "Cold" remix played. Unfortunately his appearance only lasted for a few seconds, but hopefully this means we'll be hearing this track in full and at a proper quality sooner rather than later. Please? [ via ]
