Bassnectar throws Lupe Fiasco in on his usual house, dubstep sound and it actually works pretty well. Bassnectar will be performing up on Temple's campus on April 20th. When I saw Girl Talk and Pretty Lights at the Liacouras Center, it was an amazing show. Hopefully fans are in for something similar when Bass comes thru. The internets have been buzzing about this Bassnectar/Lupe collab all week. Teasers, previews, blog promos, etc, etc, the promotional build-up has been extensive. So how's the track stack up? I've posted some of his remixes in the past, and soon he will release a new album preceded by a new single featuring Lupe Fiasco that will be released March 26th. Coming our on Lorin's own record label, Vava Voom will also have features including Lupe Fiasco, ill. Gates, Mimi Page, and Jansten.
