The good folks over at Rap Genius were able to grab Lupe Fiasco to share some of what was going through his head while writing "Bitch Bad", the first single off of his forthcoming successor to Lasers . Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1 is in stores September 25th.

Mercurial MC  Lupe Fiasco  has premiered the video for "Battle Scars" from his upcoming album  Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1  (Sept. 25). The inspiring song — which features Australian singer Guy Sebastian on the chorus —  is much less ridiculous than that album title suggests. It's about facing your problems so that you aren't defined by your "battle scars," so the bleak video takes place in seemingly war-ravaged buildings and streets. Lupe continues stratal the line between the popy-ness of Lazers and the raw Hip Hop of the first Food and Liquor. I understand he's making the move in the right direction though I just wish he could just get back to doing what we all fell in love with. I suppose that's just the price fame sometimes requires of our favorite artists.

Well this is a surprise. Apparently this track has been tearing up the charts on Australian singer Guy Sebastian's home front and now we get the visuals. Awesome track. Positive music by talented artists always outweighs the crap on the radio any day. Lupe's Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album drops 9/25.

Lupe continues to stir up conversation (both good and bad) in regards to his latest musical offerings. Adding fuel to the fire, check out the latest visuals for his track "B*tch Bad" which will be on his upcoming Food & Liquor 2 . I all honesty, I have to agree with just about every word in this track. Those that disagree are more than likely the ones that like continuing to perpetuate the sterotype. Yeah, I used some big people words boy!

In the video for Lupe Fiasco 's "Bitch Bad"-the rapper's treatise on the word on that ever-malleable b-word-the song's lyrics are given literal life through a series of reenactments. Though perhaps a bit on the nose, the video certainly adds weight to Lupe's in depth breakdown of the word. Check out "Bitch Bad" below.
