A while ago, I declared Lykke Li as the new object of my affection. Since then, other girls have walked into and out of my life, but Lykke has remained dear to my heart. So, when Keith from AutoErotique (formerly VND/LSM) emailed me with this next track, I immediately became re-infatuated with this Swedish temptress. Last night Lykke Li , along with her band chiseled, seemingly disinterested Swedes, charmed a packed Boston crowd made up equally of defected hipsters and hopeful lesbians with songs from her debut album Youth Novels , plus a view surprises. I don't think I can be any more of a fan of Lykke Li than I already am, but man this video is pretty rad. LL decides to mix it up a bit again for this alternative live one take version of "Breaking It Up" off of Youth Novels . Wow, this has been rather hectic... I've just returned from a weeks holiday in France and when I turn on my computer WordPress goes crazy on me. I guess this means some changes since I've received my share of warnings on here. I'll keep you posted of course until I've decided what to do.
