The Art Of Flight is such an impressive feat of digital filmmaking that it appeals even to those who could care less about snowboarding. The only way to describe the film is with the horribly overused word EPIC. When the producers were sourcing music to accompany the incredible visuals they needed to find music as expansive and impressive as the vistas and journeys shown in the film. Enter M83 . [...]

Those creepy little telekinetic kiddies from the M83  'Midnight City' video are back with another instalment in their matter moving mind games series of clips, this time for the band's second single 'Reunion'. While I'm not a huge fan of the song (I think it's rather boring compared to 'Midnight City' ), I have to say Anthony Gonzalez has taken quite a lot of time to make an inventive video. DJ Nu-Mark dropped a new music video and I totally spaced on it.  I've been a Nu-Mark fan since the Jurassic 5 days, and got hooked on J-Live's All of The Above LP right around that same time. What the hell is going on here??? This video is AWESOME!!!!!!!! I love M83 and I love this video. What the fuckety sci-fi trippy electronic video overload for me for their new single, " Reunion. " I love this record from start to finish and if you have not jumped on the M83 bandwagon you are dumb. Love you mean it bye... M832s 2011 album, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming , was an absolute joy. Among other sycophantic praise we described the double disc as one "with giant hooks, clever instrumentation and irresistible arrangements, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming delivers more with each listen and each time you notice something new you want to listen even more." We labelled 'Reunion' a fists-in-the-air synth rocker and we stand by that. Fittingly the video is huge. Featuring skyscrapers and pshycic children. As you do.

M83 have been busy touring in support of their latest record "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming" (we've witnessed three of those dates since its release ), but they also continue to bear gifts in the form of highly cinematic music videos. The story line for the electrifying "Reunion" picks up right where the clip for "Midnight City" left off, and we are reunited with what almost seems like the second half of a movie starring young telekinetic escapees. Things get a bit more dramatic in this short film, but the  darkness eventually gives [...]
