It's about time Gangsta Gibbs & Madlib dropped some visuals from their collaborative EP ; they released a teaser last week, but I'm usually not too big on posting those. Producer Madlib might be best known for working with DOOM and crate-diggin' for the perfect jazz sample to twist up, but when he links up with Gibbs , it's straight thuggin'. To be fair, although Madlib produced this one, it's Gibbs who stars in the video and does all the thuggin', but he thugs enough for the both of them. Check out the new clip below.

Indiana MC Freddie Gibbs and producer extraordinaire Madlib have released a music video for the title track off their joint EP,  Thuggin . In the clip, Gibbs guides us through an average day in Ghettoville, USA: from robbing people with AK-47s to getting money from your "girlfriend" and on into "leisure time with your friends" and an end-of-the-day recording/smoking session. Back in November, the stoner-rap production mastermind Madlib and the virtuosic Indiana tough-guy rapper Freddie Gibbs teamed up for a single called " Thuggin' ," which proved that they two had way better collaborative chemistry than you might expect. They've also got an album together coming out, but in the brand-new "Thuggin'" video, Gibbs seems bent on reminding the world that he is nobody's idea of a backpacker, no matter which producer he might be working with. Freddie Gibbs has made some great career moves in his day. Now he can add this one to the list. He teams up with legendary producer Madlib for this untouchable track Thuggin . Madlib's signature sound jumps out right from the beginning of this one.

After the fabulous news that Freddie Gibbs and Madlib have been in the studio crafting a project together, the two unleashed the heater of a single known as " Thuggin' " along with the rest of the Thuggin' EP. To make matters even more appealing, the two now liberate the hood heavy visuals to the single. Equipped with AK-47s, drug dealers, and whatever else you expect to see from a song called "Thuggin'". Let's hope these guys keep working together in the future, I know I'm not the only one that is craving for better [...]
