Gibbs and his ESGN crew took a trip to San Bernardino, California  over the weekend for Fred's set with Madlib, at Paid Dues. Called one of hour, notable sets at the festival by LA Weekly, Gibbs and Madlib ran through a slew of classic tracks as well as a recent fan favorite, "Shame" featuring BJ The Chicago Kid. Dutch producer BINK put together this killer video shot and edited by PIMB favorite Arts the Beatdoctor that serves as a tribute to Madlib . With the EP officially out, MED and Blu are giving  Burgundy a solid push here with the Instagrammy visuals for standout track " Burgundy Whip " featuring Jimetta Rose. It's produced by Madlib—like every other cut on the EP except for one—and soundtracks a day spent cruising around in, well, a burgundy whip. Pitchfork's Selector series continues today, with one of the most exciting installments to date. While most Selector episodes are mostly about the raps, we find out a ton here about what Freddie Gibbs has coming up as far as projects go. The most intriguing of which would be  Cocaine Piñata , the collaborative album between Madlib and Gibbs. Madlib Invazion is producer Madlib’s proprietary independent record label. He incorporated the imprint in late 2009 to release his Madlib Medicine Show musical series. The idea was simple but challenging: release one album a month, for one year.
