I went to St Louis for the Old School Tattoo Expo , where world renowned tattooer Lyle Tuttle celebrated his 80th birthday; here's a photo of his cake (it's the Frisco Flyer tattoo machine that he made and made famous). The highlight of the weekend, aside from reconnecting with Lyle and other great friends in the business for me- was the visit a few of us made to the 10 story City Museum there. A cross between the works of Antoni Gaudi and Mad Max , [...]

The wait is finally over. The highly anticipated LAZERBITCH music video for the "Coquette," track just went live on YouTube yesterday. An amazing video for a great track! Watch for yourself. Download "Coquette" now: Share and Enjoy:

So we caught up with Libby Picken from Lazerbitch and got a chance to interview her, finding out all kinds of information about the group and some of the East Coast music scene in the process. Even though the Lazerbitch fan base keeps growing, Picken was still friendly and down to Earth, not letting her ego get the best of her. We're really excited to see the forthcoming music video for the "Coquette" track and look forward to hearing more from Lazerbitch in the future. We were impressed by the duo's musical [...]

LAZERBITCH is not your ordinary outfit. Before they became what they are today, LAZERBITCH's Libby Picken worked together with some respected names in electronic music such as John B (and we think he's great, by the way), Paul Oakenfold, Donald Glaude, and T-1000. Picken also worked with drum and bass producers Tech Itch, Kraken and DJ Dara. Having good taste in music and having the privilege of working with top producers as a foundation will certainly help to form a better final product. Not only is LAZERBITCH cranking out catchy tracks, but the subtle edits on Picken's voice [...]
I have always been obsessed with the Child Chorus. It is a sacred art. In particular, I am enamored with its connection to post-apocalyptic cinema. There is nothing more perfectly complementary to the threat of certain death for the human race than an eerie, emotionless sea of juvenile moaning. Take a look... Tina Turner- "We Don't Need Another Hero" theme from Mad Max Blue States- "Season Song" theme from 28 Days Later G Tom Mac- "Cry Little Sister" theme from The Lost Boys I Ain't [...]
When two good, separate things crash and shatter and then through the rising smoke come together to form something new, the outcome is not always beautiful. Such is the tale with Jaguar Love. The band is comprised of former members from The Blood Brothers (Johnny Whitney and Cody Votolato) and Pretty Girls Make Graves (Jay [...]
