El nuevo video de Major Lazer para “ Jah No Partial ” es un conjunto de grabaciones de varias presentaciones en vivo, donde se ve al crew de ML realizando un gran perfomance y por supuesto a Diplo sin playera. Las presentaciones que usaron fueron las de Pukkelpop Festival en Hasselt, Belgica, Notting Hill Carnival en Londres y en el Mad Decent Block Party en Philadelphia. El disco Free the Universe de Major Lazer se estrenara en febrero del próximo año.
Major Lazer 's latest set of visuals gives you a glimpse into what a Major Lazer show would be like (i.e. fun). Set to their single, "Jah No Partial," the video takes footage from the Mad Decent Block Party (held in Philly), the Notting Hill Carnival (London), and the Pukkelpop Festiavl (Belgium), showcasing the collective's high-energy performances (crowd-surfing, water guns, hot dancers, etc.). Upon joining Major Lazer , Walshy Fire has lent both his MC'ing and DJ'ing abilities to the versatile project. Teaming up with reggae adept Chronixx, the two have released "Start a Fyah Mixtape" under the official Major Lazer heading. The mixtape is strictly dancehall/reggae, with Chronixx providing continuous verbal output. While we gave a glimpse into Jamaica's dancehall phenomenon with Diplo 's Kingston diaries , "Start a Fyah Mixtape" is further education into the flourishing dancehall culture. A few days ago the omniscient Thomas Wesley Pentz caught a flight to the land down under to join a stacked lineup at Stereosonic.
