May 3rd saw the release of the Beastie Boys ' long-awaited Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2 , and now that the album has been on the market (legally) for over a month, remixes of tracks are starting to pour in. The first remix up is for the track "Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win," and comes from Diplo and Switch 's Jamaican, cartoon, commando collaborat ion, Major Lazer .
A video has appeared on the Mad Decent YouTube channel , heralding the fact that the follow up to Major Lazer's 2009 'Guns Don't Kill People, Lazers Do' is nearing completion. The video, which you can watch below, features clips of tracks from the new album as well as footage of their collaborators in the studio in Jamaica. Among their new band of cohorts are Jahdan Blakkamoore, The Partysquad and Dirty Projectors‘ Amber Coffman.
