But when the band collapsed and announced an indefinite hiatus in 2005, the guitarist was left searching for a brand-new avenue -- a bigger picture. Angels and Airwaves have been DeLonge's main focus for several [...]
Mark Hoppus recently did a 6 minute video interview with i-D online in which he touched on a slew of different subjects ranging from the new album to random questions about the bands in-depth history. Mark also dropped the bomb that Blink will be heading into studio after their current tour...I'll take that bit with a grain of salt. Also I'm pretty sure Mark answered about half these questions already in an AMA he did with Reddit earlier this week. Check that out here.

Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 recently participating in an "AMA" with popular meme and discussion site Reddit . The "AMA" means "Ask Me Anything" and people asked a a variety of questions from "Is the song 'Fighting the Gravity' a reference to your hair?" (Hint: It's not) or "Is it harder to relate to the adolescent lyrics of the earlier songs now?" ("No") or "What's the most awkward thing that's happened since Blink 182 got back together?" and more. Check it out here . We'll warn you [...]

The recently reformed pop-punk group's newest album 'Neighborhoods' has a darker tone in the vein as classic Blink tracks 'Miss You' and 'Adam's Song.' Their new video for 'After Midnight' is a touching narrative that follows two depressed teens in a psychiatric ward, and now you can take an exclusive look behind the scenes of the shoot. [...]

Tweet Some people might say Blink-182 's new album "Neighborhoods" sounds like redemption. I disagree. I think it sounds more akin to acceptance, the kind required of you as you grow up. When Travis Barker was sent to intensive care after that infamous plane crash , Mark Hoppus rushed to the hospital, but estranged friend and former bandmate Tom DeLonge sent him a letter. The letter reportedly contained two pictures, which DeLonge said in an interview [...]

The earth has slowly crept its way round our sun precisely 2869 times since Blink-182 last released an album. It went quickly didn't it? When the band announced they were going on "indefinite hiatus" in February of 2005 as a result of building tensions and bad blood between the three of them, they did so 15 months after releasing their greatest work: a self-titled record that dropped the penis jokes, upped the minor chords and sold millions. It was, dare we say it, a triumph of maturity. It is perhaps due to the quality of that record that [...]

8 years is a long time to wait for an album release. Given Blink 182 's hiatus for so many years, it's a miracle that they got back together. But luckily, they have, and they're more upbeat than ever. Neighborhoods is Blink's best yet, with that same punk poppy feel as everyone remembers, but with a new spirit that hasn't been heard before. Of course, this can be heard on their first album release, "Up All Night," as Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge sing about the "demons," that keep them awake. [...]

Although the "official" video for "Up All Night," by Blink 182 is in production, the band used a clever marketing scheme to keep the buzz going for their first single in eight years. Piecing together numerous YouTube videos that featured their music without permission, the recently reunited band instantly connects them with both their longtime fans as well as the younger tech-savvy generation. On the surface, Blink 182 fans will overwhelmingly approve of this tactic as it's seen as an ultimate sign of rebellion against copyright laws, but it's obvious they're turning around and doing the same by [...]

Bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus told MTV.com that the single has been receiving so much attention, that the band's website has crashed. Here at B-Sides, we understand why everyone's interested.
