If the new video for "Let's Go" is any indication, Matt and Kim have been reading up on their awkward family photos . With outfits straight out of the '80s, the duo find themselves in a portrait studio with a slew of odd characters and uncomfortable families. From ski outfits to grandpa sweaters to birthday suits, Matt and Kim don costume after costume. As the photographer says: "I think we nailed it, guys." Watch the fun-filled hilarity above. Perhaps subtly inspired by their track “Cameras,” Matt & Kim have released the music video for their new single “Let’s Go” (from their new album Lightning) as silly take on portraiture. It’s a playful concept under the direction of Dugan O’Neal that incites hilarity on many levels from the impossible chore of taking a good school photograph to the classic AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com . Matt & Kim manage to explore the accepted yet strange norms of the portrait in an almost anthropological sense, which weirdly compliments their upbeat single perfectly.

Matt and Kim are thrilled to release their brand-new video for “Let’s Go” from the album Lightning ( iTunes ). When Matt & Kim debuted their new single " Let's Go " a few months ago, they did it in the form of a viral video featuring basketball trick-dribble virtuoso Pat The Roc. If that had been the song's official music video, nobody would've minded, but now they've actually got a proper music video for the song. Matt & Kim gave an energetic performance of their new track “Let’s Go” on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night. Their fourth album, Lightning , drops today and, if this performance is any indicator, the it should be another fun one. Check out the video below.

Last night, the endlessly peppy Brooklyn indie-dancepop rolled through Late Night With Jimmy Fallon , playing "L et's Go ," the unsurprisingly energetic lead single from their new album Lightning . It's always fun to watch two people summon this much smiley energy even when they don't have a sweaty mass of moshing teenagers three feet away from their faces in some dessicated warehouse. Matt and Kim will hit the road this fall in support of their fourth studio LP Lightning , which hits stores on October 2nd via FADER. The North American tour will see the Brooklyn duo performing in 38 cities over the course of a month and a half, and every stop they make will see them playing host to each city's No-Kill Animal Shelter. At each venue they perform at, the pair will give fans the opportunity to learn about how they can support their local no-kill locations. Definitely a worthy cause. [...]

Last week indie pop duo Matt and Kim announced that they would be releasing a new single off of their forthcoming album Lightning and today that statement has come to fruition with the debut of their brand new song "Let's Go".
