Last week, Matt & Kim teased a new single and today they're back with the whole thing, and yeah, they're sticking with the basketball theme. The track is called "Let's Go," a hook-heavy thing which you can hear at Soundcloud or down below thanks to a video that the duo made to accompany the track, a clip focusing on the showmanship of PG County ballhanding virtuoso Pat The Roc . . . . The Submarines - "Shoelaces" [mp3] The Submarines remind me of what Matt and Kim would be like if they weren't so preoccupied by pretending to be cool or Yacht if they weren't trying to prove how "completely scene" they are. This song is perfect for anyone wanting to deal with a break-up [...]
Matt and Kim 's current single is called 'Block by Block', and we've got a free download of the song's Echoes Club remix to give away. I've embedded the promo video of the single below (showing the group's penchant of putting on a show wherever and whenever in New York City they can) so you can compare and contrast; enjoy both below. And just like that, Converse not only enrolled this unlikely combination of artists but they also got them all together to film the visuals for it too. Crazy. The video is directed by Rodney Ascher , and it depicts all four artists Matt & Kim, Andrew W.K. and Soulja Boy rising from the dead. They're in a word, goners, but hey, that doesn't mean you can't party does it? It's Andrew W.K for Pete's sake, he'll party no matter what. And that means even if a mic stand is protruding from his lower abdomen.
Matt & Kim are HUGE favorites of us here at Noiseporn.com. We get another NYC block party style video from them (ala "Lessons Learned") although this one doesn't involve nudity, it's still a great track! The remix comes to us from "Echoes" and the vibe is just plain PERFECTION! Matt and Kim - Block After Block (Echoes Club mix) by differentrecordings

In addition to allocating corporate funds to underwrite " I'm A Goner ," created and produced by Matt & Kim and featuring Andrew W.K. and Souja Boy, Converse gave director Rodney Ascher the means to make it a video. Which means all of the aforementioned principals hung out in an ER smeared in corpse paint for the least metallic clip imaginable involving corpse paint. Watch it at Converse .
Just look at that picture. Matt & Kim, Andrew W.K. and Soulja Boy. Whoever came up with the idea of bringing these three acts together - high five, pat on the back, kudos, etc. The track now has a video, and even though it takes place in a morgue, they manage to pull off a party. We would expect nothing less. Watch the video here .
Some drunkard at Converse thought it would be a good idea to pay Matt & Kim, Soulja Boy and Andrew WK to write a song together. Needless to say the results are boring and pretty terrible. I don't understand how anyone could think this would work out well. There's a proper video for this tune on the Converse website but I can't embed it so head over there if you give a shit.
"I'm A Goner", the track featuring Matt & Kim, Soulja Boy, and Andrew WK, now has a corresponding video featuring Matt & Kim, Soulja Boy, and Andrew WK. According to Converse , the company which put together this random-ass collaboration, the video sees the quartet rise from the dead to "throw a raging dance party in a morgue. The mortician has left for the night, the limbs are fresh, and there's formaldehyde on ice." Check it out below.

Brooklyn's Matt & Kim already brought "Block After Block" to 30 Rock in the song's video . Last night the smiley duo returned to the Plaza, this time without fear of police intervention, at the invitation of Studio 6B. Watch the Late Night event below. Read More...
Last night, cute-kooky duo Matt & Kim took the stage on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to perform their latest single, "Block After Block" from their release Sidewalks . I never get tired of how their energy on their record pales in comparison to what they're like live. It's like they have lightning or Red Bull in their veins or something. The band is set to head out on tour starting mid-August, complete with joining Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance on the Honda Civic Tour. Head on over to [...]
