Another fun video by Matt and Kim for Block After Block , the second single off their Sidewalks album. Shot in one of my favourite cities in the world , the video has the duo conducting impromptu performances across some key landmarks of The Big Apple with the help and support of some friends.

Matt and Kim 's new video for "Block After Block" takes them across the streets of New York City playing short impromptu shows. The possibility of arrest, which the band talks about on their site (and that we've talked about for a previous video , seems low for the video. I mean, after all, we've seem homeless people over and over performing music (likely much louder) that have been doing the same thing for years; a day shuffling around the streets seems like a minor risk.

Honestly this video had us jumping around the Cafe today like fools. We appreciate Matt and Kim's hustle, hitting up random spots in NYC and just jamming out is reckless, wild, and just plain cool. Check out their video for Block After Block .

Matt And Kim have premiered their new video for "Block After Block", the latest single off their album 'Sidewalks'. The duo once again teamed up with director Jonathan Del Gatto for the video. The music video was shot on location in NYC and features both Matt and Kim along with a bunch of their fans. The duo are currently on tour in support of the new album. Ever since I created this blog, I've spent less time on other blogs and more time on Youtube digging up old clips. Matt and Kim have set the bar high when it comes to music videos. There was " Lessons Learned ," which had the duo stripping down to nakedness while walking through Times Square. Then they had the epic battle scene in their last video " Cameras ." This is one band not satisfied with standing in a room, playing their instruments, and trying to look cool. Matt and Kim once again tackle New York City in their video for "Block After Block." They set up flash performances in Chinatown, in a subway car, a bodega, and in Rockefeller Plaza, complete with traveling mosh pit and human keyboard stands. The flash performances don't always work - the employees at Home Depot look especially annoyed - but it's fun to watch them elude the cops in yet another video.
