Producer, songwriter, and singer Matthew Dear drops another track from his forthcoming album, Beams . While the songs features the dude's usual deep, strange delivery, it's got a really spunky vibe coming from the instrumentation that's a nice change of pace for Dear. There's a fantastically chilly choral bridge that starts around 1:50, too. With this track, Matthew Dear finds another sweet spot sitting between dark and the danceable, but he's got a refreshing focus on the latter this time around. Matthew Dear drops yet another piece of odd, moody electropop from this forthcoming album, Her Fantasy . The album is currently looking at a August 28th release date through Ghostly International . "Crimewaves" is a bit more upbeat than the previous song to be released from this album , and there's a refreshingly eccentric demeanor to the track that reminds me a bit of Talking Heads.
Matthew Dear pulls together yet another moody dance tune with the first single to drop from his forthcoming album, Beams . "Her Fantasy" brings a sweet beat, bubbling arpeggios, and Matthew's unsettling dead pan vocal. Look for this new album on August 27th via Ghostly International.
