When Mat Zo and Porter Robinson's collaboration "Easy" was initially released its pristine production and captivating top line made it an instant classic. Now courtesy of Astralwerks, the Beatport chart topper will see its popularity renewed with the release of an 6-track "Easy" EP. UK label Anjunabeats has issued a statement regarding their assertion that Will.i.am's track "Let's Go" featuring Chris Brown sampled Arty and Mat Zo's "Rebound" collaboration without proper permission. The label issued the statement today to counter an interview Will.i.am gave to the Associated Press where he said, "You can't steal if you credited somebody. He and I communicated. ... It's been a crazy past few days in the music industry, as the pop sensation known as will.i.am has been accused for stealing samples from the likes of Arty, Mat Zo, Sandro Silva, and Quintino. The ongoing story seems to have come to a close earlier this morning. Speculation about illegal samples being used in will.i.am's music first arose the other day when he uploaded the VEVO video for his single 'Let's Go' featuring Chris Brown.
