I guess Awesome New Republic was too long for a band name, so the Miami duo changed it to ANR . With a new moniker, the boys are gearing up to release a deluxe edition of their latest album, Stay Kids , on September 13th via 10k Islands. ANR shot us over the video to the title track from the album and its pretty darn good.There are thick, layered melodies, swirling synths and a catchy hook sure to suit any indie-pop head out. Big fan of ANR and Stay Kids . In fact, I featured the original in the past. ANR is a two-piece indie band consisting of Michael John Hancock and Brian Robertson hailing from Miami. They have released their LP Stay Kids back in March.
