YouTube is full of well-intended but utlimately awful-sounding cover versions by overzealous fans. This intrumental take on AC's 'Bluish' was inspired by someone else's particularly cringe-worthy attempt and it does what all good covers should do: accentuate the best parts of the original in a way that will make you appreciate it differently.

2009 Virgin Mobile Free Fest I have been tracking the developments of this year's Virgin Mobile Festival for a while, and though it seemed like it might not happen at one point, the producers finally came through and announced the lineup today. The Baltimore Sun wrote today that the Virgin Festival is indeed going to happen this year, but in Columbia, MD instead of Baltimore, and not charge for tickets. In theory , a free Virgin Fest sounds like a cool idea. In practice ? Not so sure.
