Miike Snow's latest video for "The Wave" picks up right where the "Paddling Out" clip left off. While the video for "Paddling Out" had more of an obscurely fun vibe "The Wave" begins with a bunch of children (or are they the aliens?) being annihilated on a playground, so it's a little darker. Luckily, the entertaining gang of perfect humans lightens the mood when we discover they have some sort of siren call ability that leads a group of policemen to gyrate. After premiering the stunning visuals for " Paddling Out ", the trio known as Miike Snow are back at it with yet another wacky video. Carrying on where the last video left off, it seems like director Andreas Nilsson maintained a steady flow of social undertones to go along with the infectious music. Holy hell this sounds similar to the studio recording. For whatever reason I always thought the lead singer's voice was always somewhat manipulated via computer effects - don't know why, but I refused to believe that he actually sounded like that.
