As a big fan of MIIKE SNOW ’s ‘Paddling Out’, and an even bigger fan of the weird-arse film clip that goes with it, I approached PENGUIN PRISON ’s remix with skepticism. Jesus walks. His name is Andrew Wyatt and this song is so damn awesome on the album he's decided to make it even better live, if that were even possible. Miike snow performed Paddling Out in session for Annie Mac and Radio 1 from the BBC's legendary Maida Vale studios. My god it sounds amazing.

Miike Snow’s recently released album, Happy To You, is one of the better electro pop albums of 2012 and is a recommended listen by yours truly. The Wave is one of the many standout tracks on the album and you can check out its video below (the mysterious video carries on the story from Paddling Out ).

The new Spiritualized video is remarkable in the fact that it made me uncomfortable for 10 minutes, but I watched all of it, and i'll remember it. That says something. Scarecrows and other faces of many levels of attractiveness throughout. Make sure you stay with the Miike Snow video till the end. -Matt

This band was absolutely everywhere at SXSW last week in Austin, oddly enough I never made it to any of their shows even though I intended to.  Here's the latest video called "The Wave", the continuation to "Paddling Out". Miike Snow ’s album  Happy To You  is out 3/27 on Downtown/Universal Republic.

Director Andreas Nilsson 's new video for Miike Snow 's "The Wave" shows the further adventures of Jean Noel, the alien-abductee from last month's "Paddling Out" video . When we last left Jean, he and his similarly large-nosed clones were crash-landing on earth. This video takes a slightly darker turn, with police officers (donuts-in-hand) arriving to a playground filled with dead kids, apparently killed in the crash aftermath. The clones gather and somehow communicate to the cops through the power of synchronized dance / singing routines. It's just as remarkably weird as you would expect from Nilsson [...]
