Coyote Clean Up has been an absolute favorite of mine from sometime now. His collaborative EP with FUR was when I first encountered his sound back in 2010 and since then I've been hooked. I know little about Russian artist, Art Crime , but he left a little treat in my inbox not too long ago with a magnificent tune with the name of, 'apathy'. Estonia native Maria Minerva never ceases to amazes me with her sound. Her upcoming album on Not Not Fun , Will Happiness Find Me? , is one twisted experimentation that the mind and ear drums will surely have an adventure on. London sound-tripper, AyGeeTee has been around for a while putting out hazy chillwave visions and only now has it been brought to my attention that I havent talked about him before. He's a member of the great Amdiscs Label as well if you already did not know. AyGeeTee left a pair of his experimentations in my inbox the other day. 'New Water' and 'Fake Water' are both to be heard at really loud levels of volume. His intricate rhythms bend the sound waves to create a euphoria of cascading bass and ethereal synths. [ via ] On Portals newest feature section, "PORTALswap", the London/San Francisco project, Joseph Stallion was showcased. The band consists of two, Max Petrek and his female vocalist, Erin Ross. They teamed up with Montreal's Seapoint to fabricate an atmospheric bass churner that hits incredibly deep in all fields. Christoph El' Truento serves up a 14 min time elapsing mind-bender. This complex ambient number makes the mind ruminate and explore the wonderful essence of different earthly tones and textures as well as their existence in this infinite universe. The track title, 'Moonjumping', halfway gives itself to a sharply airy space age ditty that releases the tension from the noise filled background just to set itself up again for more uplifting vibrations. Seattle beat experimentalist, Tavvish , is one guy worth listening to. His most recent track, 'Once a Day', stretches out at five minutes long only to leave you feeling like it was much longer. It's down-tempo fantasy chiming loop horn, wish washes and ties all focus and thought directly towards its uplifting soul teasing melody. It's one hell of a sound on this one.
