Ryan Adams performs on Conan on Monday, October 10. This week marks the return of the prolific alt-country star Ryan Adams to the idiot box. Having releasing some 14 albums since the turn of the century, it's strange to think that Adams is actually returning from a bit time off. Between his marriage to Mandy Moore and the trying onset of Ménière's disease, Adams ended his relationship with the Cardinals and stopped performing live for nearly 18 months -- a period of time that must have seemed like a lifetime to a [...]
Planned on doing this for some time, but never thought I had enough. Well, when I first started compiling I definitely didn't - but after a lot of research on YouTube, SoundCloud & beyond, I've come up with nine solid dubstep remixes of that classic rock we've grown up on. Two rock legends I wanted to find were Jimi Hendrix & ZZ Top, but unfortunately there weren't any quality ones out there. If you know of any, or any other dubstep remixes I haven't included here, hit it up in the comments below! [...]
One cold New York City night in January 2009, I found myself in the back room of the Bowery Poetry Club, encircled by the typical PBR-wielding twenty-somethings and some of the most magical music I've ever encountered. By wandering in to find shelter from the shivering chill, I had unknowingly stumbled upon the EP release [...]

It's been quite the struggle to post lately for me. I copied my digital music library from my computer to an external hard drive and the process took nearly a week! My computer is ancient so that might have something to do with it, but suffice to say there was a lot of music tripping through these wires this past week. It's just short of a terabyte now and I'm not really close to having everything from my library digitized. I'm looking forward to having several copies in safe places and buying a new machine that can handle all this [...]
"Days of Future Passed" and "Seventh Sojourn" are the two Moody Blues CDs to buy. For the rest of their hits purchase one of the many greatest hits CDs. Unfortunately, their best hits album, "This... Download your favourite album at The Mood Indicator
Short and sweet this time around. Best of the Remix (BOTR) volume 17. I'm off on a holiday next week so enjoy the music in my absence. Cheers. Also, I have no idea why I randomly fell in love with dubstep for this volume. Get over it. mp3 : Breakage (feat Donaeyo) - Speechless mp3 : Deadmau5 - Sofi Needs A Ladder (At Dawn We Rage Remix) mp3 : DJ Sneak - Southern Boy (12th Planet & Flinch Remix) mp3 : Ellie Goulding - Lights [...]

by Jeff Barringer - Staff Writer & Photographer "Lovely to see you again my friend..." I have a long history with the Moody Blues and so does my music collection. Starting with their "Caught Live +5" release in the 70s, a staple of mail order music clubs, I backtracked and ended up with most of their catalog from the 60's and early 70s. My first live experience with The Moody Blues was in 1981 at the Frank Erwin Center and I saw them there again in 1994. Compared to those shows, seeing them in 2011 at [...]

No hating here. Just spent a drunken half-hour trying to figure out where I've heard the sample in this OFWGKTA track before, though, so the least I could do is save you the time. In all honesty, the Odd Future flip is out of this fucking world. Six more competent, different-sounding MCs and we might even welcome Wu-Tang comparisons on this humble blog. Just kidding, but the Hodgy joint is fresh indeed.
